The OneFortyOne Pioneers are pleased to announce the signing of American Pachis Roberts who will join the team this week.

‘Bringing Pachis into the group will give us more flexibility in our rotations and a player that can defend and play nearly every position on the court.’ Pioneers Head Coach Matt Sutton said.

Pachis attended the University of Georgia, where she averaged 14.5 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists per game in the 2016-17 season.
The OneFortyOne Pioneers have now played three games falling short to North Adelaide and Sturt in Roundone. The team played their first game in front of a capacity crowd on Saturday night and were able to secure the teams first win in front of a home crowd, beating the Southern Tigers 69 – 62.

‘I’m really happy with how the girls have been developing and working so hard for each other. Winning their first game as a group was a great reward for their early efforts’.

The Pioneers are hopeful that they will be able to have Pachis in uniform when the Pioneers take on the Norwood Basketball Club Inc at the IceHouse this Saturday the 30th of March
